I grew up in the North East of Scotland, surrounded by hills and heather. As a child, many rainy days were spent scribbling and sketching my ideas and imaginings or playing with clay, thanks to my potter mum.

My background is in ecology and my passion for nature, wilderness and the outdoors plays a big part in my life, massively influencing my work.

I now live on the beautiful east Kent coast with my husband, our two children and our dog Bunsen, reverting to my childhood pastime of scribbling, and sketching with a bit of clay and ink thrown in.
